Operator | Mentor | Advocate
Breathwork has played a significant role in Dan's life and recovery. After years of personal practice, inner-work, group facilitation, and 1:1 clients, he developed OA and built the Get High On Your Own Supply (GHoYoS) system. Together, they blend ancient techniques with practical application, fit for modern life. GHoYoS combines nervous system regulation, high ventilation breathwork, and body-based training, backed by clear integration practices, modern physiological understanding, and research-backed scientific principles designed for real-world use.
Having personally navigated and recovered from the brutality of addiction, severe mental health battles, serious injury, chronic pain, and multiple near-death experiences, Dan's work is not theoretical. It is forged in reality. Backed by professional training and lived experience, his hard-earned expertise in breathwork, meditation, somatic work, and recovery-focused interventions informs a direct approach to mental health advocacy, recovery support, integration work, and consciousness research. As a mentor and advocate in these spaces, he calls bullshit, builds structure, and backs people to follow through.
Dan builds community projects that get outcomes. From grassroots advocacy to global initiatives, his work spans mental health, addiction recovery, consciousness science, and community-led change.
He is actively engaged in shaping policy, building large-scale mental health initiatives, and leading movements that challenge outdated paradigms. He played a pivotal role in the Save the Cranker campaign, helping protect Adelaide's iconic venue and contributing to legislative change. The team received the Citizen of the Year 2025 Award for Active Citizenship.
Dan's work is direct, strategic, and to the point. He translates deep personal insight, lived experience, and innovative research into tangible, scalable systems for human wellbeing and systemic change. His approach delivers practical frameworks that support adaptability, resilience, and self-responsibility.
Dan does not just talk about change. He builds it.
